Fraser confirmed for Monaco Meet

Jamaica’s Olympic and World Championships 100-metre champion Shelly-Ann Fraser will compete at next month’s Herculis Monaco Diamond League meet in France.
The 23-year-old sprint star will join Olympic shot putt champion Valerie Vili from New Zealand with the duo set to headline women’s competition at the Louis Two stadium on July 22.
Fraser has been one of the most outstanding sprinters in the world over the last two years, wrapping up the two major titles on offer.
The sprinter has had a slow start to her season this year, finishing second to American Carmelita Jeter in her only Diamond League outing so far.
She was successful at the Golden Spike meeting in Ostrava in May, clocking 11.04 seconds to win.
