Dunga calls for greater concentration

Brazil coach Dunga admits his side suffered from some nerves during their Group ‘G’ 2-1 victory yesterday over North Korea, who are ranked at 105th in the world.

He called for greater penetration in the coming matches from the Number One-ranked team against Ivory Coast and Portugal.

Dunga said the start is the most difficult match as anxiety builds up.

Local expert Geoffery Maxwell also shared the views of Dunga.

However, Maxwell still believes Brazil will be the team to beat.

Brazil needed almost an hour to break through the North Korean defense before pulling off the victory.

Maicon scored from an almost impossible angle in the 55th minute and Elano added the other in the 72nd to give the five-time champion Brazilians three points in their opening Group G match at Ellis Park.

Ji Yun-Nam fired home to score a famous goal for North Korea in 89th minute and ensure a nervy finish in Johannesburg.

Brazil\'s main Group G rivals Ivory Coast and Portugal played to an uninspiring goalless draw in Port Elizabeth earlier in the day.

Also, Winston Reid headed in an equalizing goal in injury time to give New Zealand a 1-1 draw with Slovakia in Group F in the early game.
