Excelsior win Basic Schools Championship

Excelsior Pre-Primary were crowned winners of the two-day Institute of Sports Basic Schools’ Athletics Championship which ended at the National Stadium yesterday.
The Mountain View-based school ended the championships with 201 points with Citizens Advice Bureau finishing second with 132.
St Francis Infant with 100 points, Elim Early Childhood Centre 91 and Silverstone Basic 81 round off the top five.
Excelsior, who were defending their title, also walked away with the two sectional prizes, topping the female and male points standings.
Citizens Advice Bureau had to settle for second in both categories.
