The Chief Executive Officer of locally-owned Capital Bank International (CBI) in Grenada, which went into receivership earlier this year, will appear before a Magistrate today on three counts of fraudulent breaches of trust.
Finton De Bourg remains in police custody, following his detention last Wednesday by members of the Financial Intelligence Unit who searched his home and confiscated documents.
CBI was put into the hands of a court appointed receiver after the Ministry of Finance said it received complaints from depositors protesting the failure of the bank to honour withdrawals.
