Tremelett replaces Hoggard

Hampshire seamer Chris Tremlett has been added to the England squad as a replacement for Matthew Hoggard ahead of the second Test against New Zealand.

Hoggard is out of the three-match series with a broken thumb, so Tremlett joins the Eleven, which drew the first Test, which ended yesterday at Lord\'s.

Tremlett suffered a back spasm against Surrey last week, but has recovered to win a recall ahead of Steve Harmison.
