PNCR announce new selection measures

The main opposition People’s National Congress Reform (PNCR) in Guyana says it has adopted a motion outlining the measures to be used in the selection of a presidential candidate for the next general elections.
The party said that the measures were approved by the General Council last weekend and took into consideration the possibility of the PNCR contesting the general and regional elections in an alliance with another opposition party.
The PNCR said that there was healthy discussions on issue and that the Council unanimously approved a motion outlining “the methodology to be used in the identification of the party presidential candidate.
