Sixty-one people have been killed and at least 125 more injured in a major train crash in India this morning.
This is the second major train crash in the West Bengal State in two months.
According to the Associated Press, the Uttarbanga Express slammed into the Vananchal Express as it was leaving the platform at Sainthia station, about 125 miles north of Calcutta.
Although most crashes have been blamed on poor maintenance and human error, the Railway Minister Mamata Banerjee, believes that this is another case of sabotage by Maoist Rebels.
However, a senior railway officer Vivek Sahai told reporters that it was difficult to pinpoint who was responsible for the accident without an inquiry report.
