Barbados wins first innings

Barbados, resuming this morning on 212 for six responding to Jamaica’s 259, were 271 for eight at lunch.



Donovan Nelson has taken five wickets for 101 runs. Justin Greaves 51, Mario Rampersad 44, Kyle Mayers 33, Clint St Hill 26 and Dario Cummins 22 were Barbados top run getters so far.



Scores in the match so far are Jamaica 259, Barbados 259 for eight.



Over at Beausejour Stadium, tournament leaders Windward Islands are on course to lift the title.



Chasing 135 for victory, Windward Islands reached 55 for two at the lunch break.



Scores in that match so far are Leeward Islands 226 and 118, Windward Islands 210 and 55 for two.



Over at Dennery Playing Field,Guyana, set 339 for victory by Trinidad and Tobago, were 129 for five in their second innings at lunch.
