Meadhaven lead NPL

Meadhaven United yesterday maintained its perfect record in the National Premier League playoffs with a 1-0 victory over York of St Thomas at the Constant Spring field.



Striker Leighton Neita scored the lone goal for Meadhaven United.



Meadhaven United have moved to nine points, three ahead of St Catherine-based Rivoli United in the four-team playoffs.



Rivoli United defeated bottom-placed Wadadah 3-0 at the Urban Development Corporation’s playfield in Montego Bay in the day’s other game.



Devon Hodges with two goals and a penalty from Marlon Edwards were on target for Rivoli United.
