Dominica PM visits Africa
Dominica’s Prime Minister Roosevelt Skerrit is on a visit to Sub Saharan Africa aimed at improving relations between his country and the African continent.
Acting Prime Minister Reginald Austrie said Skerrit’s visit is also aimed at improving relations between the wider CARICOM and Africa.
The state-owned Dominica Broadcasting Service (DBS) said Skerrit has signed two agreements on the establishment of political consultations and economic technical scientific and cultural cooperation with Morocco’s Foreign Minister Dr Taieb Fassi Fihri.
According to the DBS, the agreements are meant to strengthen political ties as well as economic and cultural cooperation.
It also said a joint commission was created to facilitate the implementation of the agreement.
