The West Indies selectors have dropped offspinner Amit Jaggernauth for the second Test against Australia, which begins on Friday in Antigua.

Jaggernauth only got one wicket in the match, which was his first Test appearance.

Also omitted was batsman Ryan Hinds, who was in the first Test 14 but did not play.

Captain Chris Gayle returns after a groin injury, while his Jamaican counterpart Xavier Marshall, who acted as emergency fielder in the first Test, was included.

Fast bowler Jerome Taylor, who missed the opening match due to a sore back, was also named in the 14.

The remaining members of the squad are Devon Smith, Ramnaresh Sarwan, Runako Morgon, Shivnarine Chanderpaul, Dwayne Bravo, Denesh Ramdin, Sulieman Benn, Daren Powell, Fidel Edwards, Darren Sammy and Brenton Parchment.

West Indies and Australia will depart today for Antigua.
