Unbeaten Meadhaven United could earn a place in the country’s top football competition, the National Premier League, after this afternoon’s first set of matches in the second round of the four-team playoffs.
Meadhaven, on nine points, need a victory over bottom-placed Wadadah in Montego Bay to all but seal its place.
The game will take place at the Urban Development Corporation field, beginning at 3.30 p.m.
Rivoli United defeat York in the day’s other game, Meadhaven United will advance with two games remaining.
A victory for York over Rivoli would delay Meadhaven’s qualification.
The Rivoli United, York clash will take place at Prison Oval in Spanish Town, also at 3.30 p.m.
