Jamaica’s national senior footballers are scheduled to depart the country this afternoon at 2.05 p.m. for Trinidad and Tobago to face the host country in a friendly international on Wednesday.

The game will take place at the Marvin Lee Stadium starting at 5 p.m. Jamaica time.

Jamaica’s 19-man squad includes six overseas-based players. Eric Vernan, the European-based player is already in the island and will travel with the local-based players.

They will be joined in T&T by US-based players Shavar Thomas, Ryan Johnson, Dane Richards and Donovan Ricketts, along with Rodolph Austin, who is also based in Europe.

Among the local-based players three have received their first national call-up to the senior squad. They are Devon Williams of Real Mona and St Georges, Oneil Fisher of Harbour View and St Georges and Andre Blake of Sporting Central.

Meanwhile, Kendall Jagdeosingh and Keon Daniel are the only two overseas-based players named in Trinidad and Tobago's squad.

Jagdeosingh and Daniel were part of the Puerto Rico Islanders side that knocked the United States Major League Soccer outfit Los Angeles Galaxy out of the CONCACAF Champions League last week.

Trinidad and Tobago and Jamaica are using the match as a tune up for the Digicel Caribbean Cup, which starts later this year.
