China mudslide deaths reach 1,000

The death toll following a massive rain-triggered landslide in the Zhouqu County of China's northwestern Gansu province has now reached 1,117.



In the meantime, residents continue to dig through the sludge where they think their bedrooms once were.



The residents also believe the number of people killed could be more than the 1,117 reported so far.
