The Grenadian government is set to receive a $1.9 million grant from Libya for public work projects.
Foreign Affairs Minister Peter David says the money is part of a $10 million package slated for the Organisation of Eastern Caribbean States (OECS) in at least six of the nine member-states.
David says the Tillman Thomas administration also expects Libya to forgive a $6 million debt.
Meanwhile, OECS officials have worked out several agreements with Tripoli including the opening of a Libyan embassy in St Lucia and a bank in St Kitts.
