Three members of the Olympic Gardens women’s football team, along with their coaches Michael Peart and Anthony Samuels, were each fined $3,000 by the Disciplinary Committee of the Jamaica Football Federation (JFF) yesterday.

Ranish Sullivan, Opal Williams and Kemicaya Carey were the players fined.

The fines were handed down as a result of an attack on a referee during a Sherwin Williams Women’s Premier League match between Olympic Gardens and Trelawny.

The match was blown off in the 80th minute. The game was awarded to Trelawny with a 3-0 margin.

The JFF Competitions Committee chairman, Michael Ricketts, chaired the meeting.
