Prison officer among four arrested in St Lucia

A St Lucian prison officer is among four people now in police custody in connection with the recent daring prison escape by two Venezuelans and a local.



The three escaped from Bordelais prison earlier this month and are still at large.



Local police have described the runaways as armed and dangerous.



The prison break has prompted a review of prison security by teams from the Organisation of Eastern Caribbean States (OECS), the United Kingdom and the United States.
