US, Cuba ties best in years

The governor of the American state of New Mexico, Bill Richardson, has described the relationship between the United States and Cuba as the best in years.



Richardson is on a five-day mission to Cuba to promote exporting New Mexico green chillies, nuts and salsa to the island.



According to him, the Obama administration is also considering relaxing travel restrictions to Cuba for education, cultural or sports purposes.
