Bouterse to hold talks with Guyana president

Desi Bouterse, is to hold talks with Guyana’s President Bharrat Jagdeo next Monday on issues affecting both countries.



Bouterse, a former coup leader took office last month.



Officials in Georgetown say he will discuss a range of issues with President Jagdeo, but not a land border dispute.



The issues include travel across the border, drugs and crime and climate change.
