Grenada reports growth in Agriculture

Grenada's Prime Minister Tillman Thomas is reporting growth in the agriculture industry despite the global economic downturn.



Thomas says remittances and the tourism and construction sectors were adversely affected by the financial crisis.



However, he says there are plans for more investments in agriculture with the establishment of another agro-business later this year.



Thomas says the local cocoa association is also in the process of setting up a chocolate company to process cocoa to export to England.
