Guyana’s cricketers in S/Africa for Champions League

Guyana’s cricketers are now in South Africa for the Champions League 20/20 starting later this week.



The Ramnaresh Sarwan led squad will clash with the world’s finest 20/20 teams in the cash-rich showpiece from September 10-26.



Guyana qualified for the tournament by winning the Caribbean 20/20 in July, beating Barbados by a single wicket with a ball to spare in a thrilling final in Trinidad.



Zoned in Group A, Guyana will now meet Royal Challengers Bangalore, Lions of South Africa, Mumbai Indians, and South Australia.
