Meadhaven United have qualified for the country’s top football competition, the National Premier League.

The Kingston and St Andrew Football Association representative achieved the feat yesterday following a 4-1 victory over Wadadah at the Urban Development Corporation field in Montego Bay.

Meadhaven United have moved to an unassailable 13 points in the four-team National Premier League playoff.

Rivoli United on eight points and York on seven points will vie for the other spot.

The playoffs end on Sunday with Meadhaven travelling to St Thomas to face York and Rivoli hosting out-of-contention Wadadah.
