The Leeward Islands Airline Pilots Association has issued a seven-day ultimatum to the management of the regional carrier LIAT to implement all of the recommendations of an arbitration panel or face action.
The association’s chairman Captain Michael Blackburn says the management of LIAT have only implemented some aspects of the June 30 ruling.
He is demanding that all the recommendations be implemented by September 15.
Blackburn’s warning comes a day after the LIAT’s acting Chief Executive Officer Brian Challenger announced that the company’s management is moving to put in place measures for implementation of a new collective bargaining agreement.
