Jamaican leads Durham to victory

Jamaican all-rounder Gareth Breese yesterday guided defending champions Durham to a one-wicket victory over Nottinghamshire in their Friends Provident Trophy quarterfinal match at Chester-Le-Street in England.
Breese picked up two wickets to help restrict Nottinghamshire to 188 in 47.2 overs. Samit Patel top scored for Nottinghamshire with 114 from 113 balls.
Breese then stroked a vital unbeaten 34 as Durham snatched victory with one over to spare, ending at 189 for nine.
