Cuba to aid CARICOM trade

Cuba has reaffirmed its commitment to aid CARICOM in trade, health, sports, education and energy.
Director of the Foreign Trade Ministry for Latin America and Caribbean trade policy, Edilia Prince, said Cuba would continue to promote exchange in these areas.
She also noted the significance of working on true economic unity and on new business opportunities based on each country\'s economic potentials.
Prince also highlighted the role of the Bolivarian Alternative for the Americas (ALBA), noting that social welfare and the quality of living of the region’s people are its top priorities.
