Inter draw opener, Barcelona beat Panathinaikos
Defending champion Inter Milan of Italy came from behind to draw 2-2 with Champions League newcomer FC Twente in the Netherlands today.

Theo Janssen equalized for Twente with a curling free kick in the 30th, then 10 minutes later Milito's own goal put Twente ahead.
Samuel Eto'o scored minutes before halftime to level for Inter.
In Spain, Lionel Messi scored twice and missed a penalty as hosts Barcelona, which lost to Inter in the semifinals last season, started group play with a convincing 5-1 victory over Panathinaikos of Greece at the Camp Nou.
In Group C, Manchester United of England were held to a goalless draw at home to Rangers of Scotland, and Valencia of Spain thrashed newcomers Bursaspor of Turkey 4-0 away.
