JFF calls up 25 CFU Under 20 qualiiers

The Jamaica Football Federation (JFF) has invited 25 players to continue preparation for the Caribbean Football Union stage of qualifiers for the FIFA Under 20 World Cup.
Jamaica’s Young Reggae Boys will participate in the Caribbean Football Union’s Second Phase in the Preliminary Group Stage from October four to 11 in Guyana.
The Jamaicans will be in action on October six, eight and 10. The winner of the group will qualify for the CONCACAF stage of the qualification to take part in a 12-team tournament.
The runners-up in the zone will enter a play-off stage to qualify for another spot in the CONCACAF stage.
The CONCACAF finals will be held in Guatemala in March 2011.
Former national senior coach Wendell Downswell has been appointed coach and Andrew Edwards as the assistant coach.
