West Indies all-rounder Kieron Pollard hammered an unbeaten half-century to lead the star-studded Mumbai Indians to 184 for four in their crucial Champions League 20/20 match against Caribbean representatives Guyana at Kingsmead in South Africa.

The Trinidadian Pollard was undefeated on 72 off 30 balls. He clobbered nine sixes and a four.

Pollard received good support from captain Sachin Tendulkar, who scored 49 off 39 deliveries, Shikhar Dhawan, who hit 39 off 37 balls and JP Duminy, who was unbeaten on 14 off six balls.

Devindra Bishoo was Guyana’s most successful bowler with three for 34 off four overs. Royston Crandon had one for 44 off four overs.

Guyana will need 185 for victory and will start their reply shortly.

Neither teams can afford defeat- Mumbai are already on the brink of elimination after two defeats and Guyana went down to Indian Premier League team Royal Challengers Bangalore by nine wickets in a one-sided affair in Centurion last Sunday.
