Overseas player to join Reggae Boyz squad
Jamaican overseas-based utility player Tyrone Marshall will join the national squad in Grenada today.
The Reggae Boyz will tackle Grenada tomorrow afternoon at 3 p.m. in their final international friendly before the country’s opening World Cup qualifier against the Bahamas next Sunday at the National Stadium.
The second-leg tie against the Bahamas will be held at the Trelawny Multi-Purpose Stadium on Wednesday, June 18.
Tomorrow’s game represents the third international friendly leading up to the opening World Cup qualifier.
Last Wednesday, Jamaica whipped St. Vincent and the Grenadines 5-1 at the National Stadium, followed by a 1-1 tie against Trinidad and Tobago on Saturday night at the Marvin Lee Stadium in Macoya, Trinidad.
Tickets for the first-leg World Cup qualifier against the Bahamas will go on sale on Wednesday, while tickets for the second-leg will go on sale on Monday, June 16.
