FIFA president to visit Jamaica

FIFA President, Joseph Sepp Blatter will arrive in Jamaica on Sunday for a two-day visit.
He will lead a high-profile delegation that also includes FIFA Vice-President and CONCACAF President, Jack Warner.
The FIFA team will be in the country for the inauguration of the Jamaica Football Federation’s (JFF) Technical Centre at the University of the West Indies, Mona on Monday, September 27.
At the mid-morning ceremony at the UWI, the FIFA team will officially break ground for Phase Two of the FIFA Goal Project.
Three hours after arriving in the country on Sunday, Blatter is also scheduled to meet with the JFF Board of Directors at 4 p.m.
After meeting with the JFF Board of Directors, Blatter will also attend a Cocktail Reception in his honour to be hosted by Sports Minister Olivia 'Babsy' Grange at Jamaica House at 7.30 p.m.
It will be the Swiss native third visit to Jamaica.
