Manchester High blank Knox

Last year’s beaten finalists, Manchester High School, hold on to their perfect win record by defeating Knox College 2-0 in their Zone ‘G’ top-of-the-table match as the ISSA/Pepsi/Digicel daCosta Cup competition continued yesterday.



The game was played at Manchester High. By virtue of their win, Manchester High have now moved to maximum 15 points from five games.



In another Zone G match, Spalding High scored a 4-1 win over Porus High to move to 10 points and second in the group.



In Zone J, former champions Dinthill Technical notched their first win of this campaign, clipping Bog Walk 2-1.



In the big Clarendon derby, Clarendon College defeated archrivals Vere Technical 1-0 in their Group ‘H’ encounter. With the victory, Clarendon College have now moved to maximum nine points. In the other Zone H game, Edwin Allen clipped Claude McKay 1-0.



Over in Zone G, Christiana High edged Cross Keys 3-2. The competition continues tomorrow with 32 games.
