Junior TT team departs tomorrow

Members of Jamaica’s Junior table tennis team will depart the island tomorrow morning for the Latin American Cadet and Junior Championships in Cartegena, Colombia.
The five-day competition serves off on Friday.
National champion Yvonne Foster of Meadowbrook High will lead the Under-15 girls’ team. They are Aashli Alexander from Ardenne, Kristen McKenzie from Campion and Shaunda Bash from Bishops Gibson High.
The boys’ team includes Nicholas Mahfood from the American International School of Kingston, St. Georges College’s John-Marc Chambers and Jordan McKenzie of Campion.
The teams qualified for the tournament based on good performances at the Caribbean Cadet and Junior Championships in Guyana in April.
