Texan billionaire to announce new partnership

Sir Allen Stanford, the Texan billionaire who bankrolls the lucrative Stanford 20/20 tournament, is set to announce details of a new partnership with the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) at a Press Conference today.
The partnership is expected to see a new cash-rich 20/20 venture coming on stream later this year.
The Press Conference, which will take place at Lord’s in England, will be attended by Sir Allen along with ECB chairman Giles Clarke and ECB chief executive David Collier.
Several of the Stanford 20/20 Legends, including former West Indies captain Sir Vivian Richards, are expected to attend.
