St Lucia PM calling for fiscal discipline

St. Lucian Prime Minister Stephenson King is calling for fiscal and regulatory discipline among member states of the Organisation of Eastern Caribbean States (OECS).



According to King, good practice has become even more critical in the current global financial crisis situation.



He says the sub-region would find it very difficult to operate its proposed economic union with so many banks and so many insurance companies.
