The St. Lucia Police is still to establish a lead into the murder of a British man who was wanted by Scotland Yard.

Police said Adrian ‘Smokey’ Paul arrived in the island just a few weeks ago.

He was employed as a construction worker in the west coast of Soufriere.

Paul was shot four times by an unidentified gunman.

He was wanted in connection with a murder at the Red Lion Public House, in Essex County in England in August 2005.

That shooting had been an apparent revenge for the murder of Paul’s younger brother.
