Teams seek to strengthen inter zone places
Last year’s beaten finalists, Manchester High School, will be among the teams seeking to strengthen their claim for qualification to the Inter-Zone round when action resumes this afternoon in the 2010 ISSA/Pepsi/Digicel daCosta Cup.
The Barry Watson-coached Manchester High, who lead Zone G with 22 points will be gunning to repeat their first-round win when they travel for a big match up against second-place Knox College.
Over in Zone H, there will be two crucial games as joint leaders Clarendon College and Edwin Allen will be in action.
Clarendon College will face Vere Technical and Edwin Allen will play Claude McKay.
With Zone J leaders Charlemont High inactive today, second-place Old Harbour High could take over sole leadership of the group with a win against McGrath.
All games are scheduled to kick off at 3.30 p.m.
