The West Indies Cricket Board (WICB) received US$2 million from the Stanford 20/20 Organisation.
The money, which was handed over today, represents the licence fee for sanctioning the Stanford 20/20 Tournament in Antigua.
The licence agreement with Stanford 20/20 will earn the WICB a total of US$6 million, $2 million this year and $1 million each year up to 2012.
That agreement with Stanford 20/20 follows the one signed yesterday in London among the WICB, the England and Wales Cricket Board and Sanford 20/20.
Together the agreements will be worth approximately US$33.5 million to the WICB over the five-year period.
