Portmore United beat Sporting Central

Portmore United defeated Sporting Central Academy 1-0 at Brancourt in Clarendon yesterday to keep their lead in the Digicel Premier League.
Steven Morrison handed Portmore United the win following a 40th minute strike.
As a result of the victory, Portmore United have moved to 13 points, the same as Waterhouse, who scored a 1-0 victory over Tivoli Gardens courtesy of a Jermaine Anderson late goal.
Over at Harbour View Stadium, reigning champions Harbour View thrashed Boys’ Town 5-1 in a late game.
With the victory, Harbour View have moved from seven place to join Boy’ Town on 10 points.
Over at Drax Hall in St Ann, Benfica and Arnett Gardens battled 1-1 draw. Garfield Reid had given the home team the lead but Kirk Ramsay equalised for Arnett Gardens.
In the day’s other games, Reno and Village United played to a one-all draw at Frome Sports Complex in Westmoreland, while St George’s defeated Humble Lions 1-0 at Lynch Park in Portland.
