WICB President’s Cup bowls off today

Regional cricket returns to Jamaica today when the 2010 West Indies Cricket Board (WICB) one-day championships for the President’s Cup bowls off this morning at two venues.
Hosts Jamaica, led by Christopher Gayle, will start their Group ‘A’ campaign against Windward Islands at the Trelawny Multi-Purpose Stadium.
The day’s other Group ‘A’ game features back-to-back champions Trinidad and Tobago, with all rounder Dwayne Bravo, big-hitting Kieron Pollard and Adrian Barath, taking on the Combined Campuses and Colleges.
Both games are scheduled to bowl off at 9 a.m.
Group ‘B’ teams will begin their campaign tomorrow.
Guyana, with West Indies players Ramnaresh Sarwan and Shivnarine Chanderpaul, will play in Group B alongside Barbados, Leeward Islands and the High Performance Centre Eleven.
The tournament will end on October 24.
