LIME to sponsors St Catherine League

Football in the parish of St Catherine received a major boost today when telecom provider LIME announced a $15 million three-year sponsorship deal of the St Catherine Football Association.



The deal between LIME and the St Catherine Football Association means that the telecommunication firm will finance the Major League, Division One, Division Two, Knock Out competitions along with the women’s leagues in the parish.



A crucial component of the sponsorship deal is that LIME will cover the referees’ fees for the Major League and Division One leagues.



LIME will also be providing Closed User Group mobile service for the association and each Major League and Division One Teams as well as apparel for the teams.



LIME’s vice president of Marketing, Wayne Lawrence is very happy for the partnership with the St Catherine Football Association.



The League kicks off on Saturday afternoon with two Major League matches at Prison Oval in Spanish Town. The games are Royal Lakes taking on Albion at 3 p.m. and Portsmouth tackling McCooks Pen at 5 p.m.
