WICB to appoint temporary team manager
The West Indies Cricket Board (WICB) is expected to appoint a temporary team manager for the regional side tour of Sri Lanka next month.
West Indies will face Sri Lanka in three Tests, five One-Day Internationals and a 20/20 International.
WICB’s Corporate Communication Officers, Imran Khan, says the regional board has received applications for the post but the interviewing process is yet to begin.
The Team Manager is responsible for managing the operational and logistical requirements of the West Indies Team and managing the efficient execution of the team’s activities and contractual commitments to a consistently high standard.
Legendary former West Indies fast bowler Joel Garner filled the position for an interim period until the end of the Digicel Series 2010.
