Usain Bolt’s autobiography launched last night
Triple World and Olympic sprint champion Usain Bolt had the second launch of his autobiography, MY STORY 9.58 at the Terra Nova Hotel in Kingston last night.
The first launch took place in London last month and was published by Harper Collins, UK.
The regional publishing rights to Bolt’s autobiography has been given to Kingston-based Ian Randle Publishers. The company will be publishing the book for the entire English-speaking Caribbean.
MY STORY 9.58, an illustrated biography, focuses on the story of the eight days in August 2008 during which Bolt won three gold medals, set three world records, and came to the attention of millions of people around the world.
The easy-to-read book is in full colour and contains never-before-seen photographs of Bolt at work and at play. Testimonials from those who have had a major influence in the young athlete's life are also included.
The book is over 280 pages and is complete with photographs, some of which has never been published.
