Earlier, New West Indies fast bowling recruit Andre Russell grabbed a six-wicket haul but Barbados rallied to make 249 for nine off their allotted 50 overs.

The 22 year-old Russell finished with six for 49 but Jonathan Carter 57 and Dwayne Smith 55 stroked half-centuries to sure up the innings after Barbados were sent in to bat.

Barbados will now face the Leeward Islands in the final on Sunday at Sabina Park.
