SA thrash Pakistan in one-day opener

Jacques Kallis and AB de Villiers blasted South Africa to an eight-wicket victory over Pakistan in the first one-day international in Abu Dhabi today.
Pakistan, batting first, collapsed from 140 for one to 203 all out in 49 overs against the bowling of Lonwabo Tsotsobe 4 for 27.
Mohammad Hafeez topscored for Pakistan with 68 from 84 balls, while Younis Khan hit 54 from 75 balls.
Needing 204 for victory, South Africa replied with 207 for two with 10.3 overs to spare. Kallis hammered 66 before retiring hurt with cramp and AB de Villiers struck 51 from 53 balls.
Saeed Ajmal also got among the runs with a rapid 35 from 29 deliveries.
South Africa won the two-match 20/20 series 2-0.
