St. Lucia Housing Minister claims harassment

In St. Lucia the Housing Minister, Richard Frederick has accused the island\'s customs officials of continuing to harass him.



The minister is the subject of an ongoing investigation into alleged tax evasion that saw him being arrested last year, but not charged.



Mr Frederick, who has indicated that he may take legal action over the matter, said he has been embarrassed and humiliated in a manner that makes a mockery of his office.



At a news conference yesterday, he hinted that the case against him might be politically motivated.
