St Lucia revises Tomas death toll to seven

The National Emergency Management Organisation is in St Lucia has reported that the official death toll following the passage of Hurricane Tomas is seven.



This is a revision of the previous reports of 14 deaths.



St. Lucia was the worst affected of the eastern Caribbean islands struck by Tomas.



Meanwhile, the authorities say electricity has been restored to about 95 per cent of the island.
