CARICOM fears over trade barrier

CARICOM is expressing concern about new trade barriers they say are likely to affect the region's major exports.
The officials say the barriers are about to be put in place by industrialised nations that emit the bulk of greenhouse gases that cause climate change.
Carlos Fuller, the Deputy Director of the Caribbean Climate Change Centre in Belize says CARICOM is worried that developed countries which have to reduce their emissions of greenhouse gases may insist that goods entering their territories must also fall under that regime.
