England’s bowlers impressed ahead of Ashes

England's four bowlers and their opening batsmen all impressed on today’s second day of the second Ashes warm-up match against South Australia in Adelaide, Australia.



The hosts resumed 262 behind on 26 without loss but never threatened to get close to England's total on a gloomy, overcast day, which helped the seam bowlers.



Stuart Broad struck first, before James Anderson 3 for 62, Steven Finn 2 for 47 and Graeme Swann 4 for 68 combined to dismiss South Australia for 221.



Batting a second time, England reached 94 without loss when stumps were drawn with Alastair Cook on 37 and Andrew Strauss on 57.
