Wolmer’s Boys back on track

Wolmer’s Boys registered a 2-0 victory over Tivoli Gardens to put their semi-final hope back on track as the second round of the urban-area ISSA/Pepsi/Digicel Manning Cup competition continued today.



The game was the first of a double-header at the Constant Spring field.



With the victory, Wolmer’s Boys have moved to three points from two games in Group Three. They lost their opening game 1-0 to Norman Manley on Monday.



In the second game, Norman Manley were leading Excelsior 1-0 in the second half action. Victory for Norman Manley would put them on the verge of qualifying for the semi-finals with maximum six points.
