Woman admits to killing son

A woman from East London has admitted that she killed her 12-year-old autistic son by making him drink bleach.
Ajit Singh-Mahal was found with fatal injuries at the family home in Barking, east London, in February.
His mother 44-year-old Satpal Kaur-Singh, pleaded guilty at the Old Bailey to manslaughter by reason of diminished responsibility.
She had previously denied the boy's murder.
A post-mortem gave a preliminary cause of death as ingestion of a caustic liquid.
The case has been adjourned for psychiatric reports.
She’s expected to be sentenced on December 13.
